AI customer service vs chatbot
A chatbot answers. AI customer service finishes the job.
Many Philippine businesses tried a Messenger chatbot and gave up when customers got stuck in the menu. Here’s what’s different now.
15 minutes on Google Meet. No commitment.
What is the difference between a chatbot and AI customer service?
A traditional chatbot follows a script: buttons, keywords and fixed replies that someone has to build by hand. AI customer service understands what the customer actually typed, answers in their own language, asks follow-up questions and does the task behind the message, like creating a ticket or booking an appointment.
The problem
Why customers hate most chatbots
A customer types “sira po yung printer namin sa 2nd floor, pwede pa-check bukas?” and the chatbot replies with a menu: “Press 1 for Products, 2 for Promos.” The customer gives up and calls, or worse, goes to a competitor.
Button chatbots also need you to build and update every flow yourself. When your prices or services change, the bot gives old answers until someone fixes it.
AI customer service reads the message like a person would, and it’s set up and kept up to date by the AIStaff team.
What it does
What AI customer service adds
Understands free-typed messages
No menus to click through. Customers just type, in English, Filipino or Taglish.
Asks what’s missing
If the customer forgot the address or the unit, it asks for just that, in a plain sentence.
Does the task
Creates the ticket, books the schedule and confirms with the customer.
Remembers the conversation
Follows up later and knows what the customer already said.
Knows when to hand off
Alerts your team when a customer needs a person, instead of looping the menu.

It chats, but it isn’t a button chatbot. It understands free-typed messages, answers in the customer’s language and does the work behind the message, like creating tickets and bookings.
Will it make things up?
It answers from the business details you approve. When it doesn’t know, it doesn’t guess: it tells the customer it will check and alerts your team.
Can I switch from my current chatbot?
Yes. We connect AIStaff to your Facebook Page and other channels and load your business details. Your old chatbot can be turned off once AIStaff is live.
How much does it cost?
You can start free with 50 customer chats a month on Facebook Messenger. Paid plans run from ₱1,999 to ₱11,999 a month, with free setup.
